Outside Linebacker: Andre Tippett, New England Patriots; Back-up: Mike Vrabel, New England Patriots;Tippett clawed and mamed his way to record exactly 100 sacks over his monster career in New England. That is #1 all-time in Patriots history. He also ranks #4 among all-time linebackers with 0.662 sacks per game. He was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2008.

Outside Linebacker 2: Mo Lewis, New York Jets; Back-up: Cornelius Bennett, Buffalo Bills;

Mo Lewis inadvertently and unwittingly upheld Jets tradition and helped create his biggest enemy by simply doing his job. The crushing blow he dealt on New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe caused the qb internal bleeding and a lost season. Enter Tom Brady. It wasn't all bad for Lewis. He did make 3 Pro Bowls, had 2 All-Pro selections, and ended up serving as the Jets team captain for most of the years he played.
